24 is an exalt-focused DPS who is actually four characters in one. Her kit changes depending on the realm she’s used with, modifying her mechanics and playstyle.
Chaos 24¶
If all four members of the team are Chaos, you get Chaos 24, the most powerful variant of the character. This variant of 24 gets a permanent multiplier to Exalt Final DMG every time you use a posse, which boosts her damage output to the moon in long fights.
In a Mono Chaos team that can use dual posse every turn, Chaos 24 scales up to become one of the highest-damage characters in the game, and is one of the few DPS that are viable in D-tide Madness difficulty.
Her weakness is that her damage is mostly single-target, so she’s bad at mob fights and typically needs her teammates to handle them. She also does no damage for the first few turns, requiring her team to stall and survive while she builds up her damage.
Chaos 24 is not recommended for new players, since Mono Chaos teams require you to have a lot of unlocked posses to work. In any case, as you don’t need this much damage to beat low-level stages, other variants of 24 may be more useful.
Aequor 24 (Blue 24)¶
If at least one member of the team is Aequor, you get Aequor 24 (usually called Blue 24 in the Morimens community). This variant of 24 inflicts poison and scales your Tentacle DMG over time.
Blue 24 deals relatively low damage, but is the most self-sufficient 24 variant, as she inflicts a lot of weakness and vulnerable. Since she can be used with the tanky and newbie-friendly Aequor realm, this makes Blue 24 the best option for new players.
Ultra 24¶
If at least one member of the team is Ultra, you get Ultra 24. This variant of 24 is one of the strongest DPS in Faded Legacy stages.
Ultra 24 is broken because she deals increasing damage based on your counter, while inflicting counter based on her damage dealt. This means she scales exponentially over time, and can hit much harder than Chaos 24 if paired with a counter generator like Daffodil.
Ultra 24 was once a meta DPS, but her glory days are over, as newer damage dealers like Mouchette can kill Faded Legacy bosses faster than she does. In Astral Reign stages, counter scaling is severely nerfed, so there’s no longer a reason to run Ultra 24 in endgame content.
Caro 24¶
If at least one member of the team is Caro, you get Caro 24. This variant of 24 is focused on building STR and inflicting bleed.
Caro 24 is the lowest-damage variant of the character and doesn’t see much use as a result. While she can put up decent numbers with Pickman as a support, she’s largely outclassed in this role by Sorel and Doresain.
